The Jan Wallander and Tom Hedelius foundation and the Tore Browaldh foundation aim to support social science research, primarily in business administration, economics and economic history.
The Handelsbanken research foundations support research in the social sciences, with a particular focus on economics and business. Through grants and scholarships, they promote knowledge that strengthens both the academic research world and society at large.
Each foundation operates under its own statutes and has specific purposes. The application processes may vary, but generally follow the same core principles. The aim is to maintain the highest level of diligence when reviewing applications and following up on granted funding.
