Claudio Daminato is an Assistant Professor of Economics and Tore Browaldh Scholar at Lund University.
Claudio Daminato primary research interests are in household finance and applied microeconomics. He study policy-relevant questions around the determinants of household saving and portfolio behaviour, and the degree of self-insurance against various sources of risk over the individuals’ life-cycle.
Claudio Daminato are particularly interested in studying the implications of the demographic transition and the process of financial technology adoption on households’ finances and welfare, as well as the determinants of wealth and consumption inequality.
